Funmi earned her master’s degree in human resources management at the University of Westminster, London, and is a certified Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Funmi completed her first degree in BSC(ED) in Political Science from the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State, as well as a Certificate in Education from the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Lagos. She is equally a proud graduate of the six months Certified Professional Child Caregiver of The Nanny Academy. After her studies at The Nanny Academy in 2014, Funmi worked with children in two different childcare centers across Lagos state and gained invaluable experience.

She joined The Nanny Academy in 2017 and given her outspoken exemplary zeal and passion for nannies and indeed domestic workers welfare, she has added so much value to our community. She is a strong voice amongst our team, helping students to build their professional stance and skills as caregivers to earn the much-needed respect lacking in the profession. Funmi is passionately exploring aspects of special needs children and is an invaluable driver of our community projects. She is married and is a very hands-on Mum to her son.
